Kredi by Kredimoney MFB is a Digital Banking Application ( “Digital Banking Application” or “Service”) that is operated by the Conpro Microfinance Bank (“us”, “we”, or “our”) which is geared towards democratizing access to financial services for Nigerians.

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device.   • Right to Rectification : Users can modify or change their email, password, PIN and profile picture via their profile.

  • Right to Withdraw Consent : Users can stop receiving our promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in every email we send, or by adjusting your Marketing Preferences in your profile. Users also have choices with respect to cookies, as described above. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies some parts of our Site may not work properly in your case.

Data and Account Deletion Procedure for Kredi

To delete your Kredi account:

  • Log In: Access your Kredi app by logging in or downloading the app if you’ve previously uninstalled it.
  • Navigate: Head over to the ‘Support’ section within the app.
  • Delete Account: Click on “Settings” and scroll down until you find the “Delete Account” option and tap on it to begin the deletion process.

Upon initiating the deletion request, our system will process your account for deletion. However, there are a few situations where deletion might be delayed:

  • Outstanding Loans: If you have any outstanding loans with Kredi, you’ll need to settle them before your account can be deleted.
  • Account Balance: Any remaining funds in your account must be transferred out before deletion can proceed.
  • Legal or Regulatory Actions: If your account is involved in any ongoing legal or regulatory matters, we are legally obligated to resolve those before deleting your account.

Please ensure you meet these conditions to facilitate a smooth deletion process.

Partial Data Deletion:

If you only want to delete specific information, such as existing bank accounts, debit cards, or direct debit mandates, you can do so within the app. Simply log in to Kredi, navigate to the appropriate sections under “Banks & Cards,” and delete the desired data.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
